RVC Foundation scholarship applications now available

The Rock Valley College Foundation announces that scholarship applications are now available for the 2011-12 academic year.
Scholarship applications are available online at www.rockvalleycollege.edu/scholarships or through the Financial Aid Office at RVC in the Student Center on the Mulford Road campus.

The process for applying has been streamlined to allow all applicants to complete a single application for all awards. Completed applications are due by May 2.

A variety of scholarships are available, and each features its own criteria based upon the donor’s wishes. Criteria may include academic area of study, grade point average, involvement in sports or clubs, enrolled number of class hours, as well as other criteria.

During the current academic year, the RVC Foundation has awarded 183 scholarships totaling $133,288 in funds. Since the year 2000, the RVC Foundation has awarded in excess of $900,000 to RVC students in the form of scholarships.
