To the Editor: Help clean up when you’re out walking

This is a good time to search for trash and litter in our parks and along our streets and roads. The snow is gone, and the leaves have yet to arrive—making finding debris in the shrubs and woods much easier.
If you go for walks in our parks or forest preserves—take along a bag to collect the trash that you find. Please recycle what you can. We hope you can help us welcome spring with a good “cleaning.”
