Winnebago County Veterans Association announces scholarships available for graduating seniors

The Winnebago County Veterans Association will present four scholarships this spring to graduating seniors.

Two $1,000 scholarships and two $500 scholarship opportunities will be available, one each for females and males seniors graduating from a Winnebago County school program.

Students applying for one of the scholarships must be related to an honorably discharged veteran (grandparent, parent, aunt, uncle or sibling).

Scholarship applications may be obtained from school counselors, local veteran service clubs or at the VAC office in the lower level of Memorial Hall, 215 N. Main St.
Applications must be completed and returned to the Veterans Assistance Commission office in Memorial Hall no later than April 15.

The Winnebago County Veterans Association looks forward to assisting eligible
