DEKALB, Ill.—Legendary rap group House of Pain will be making a stop on their reunion tour at Otto’s Niteclub & Underground, 118 E. Lincoln Hwy., DeKalb, Ill., Wednesday, April 13. Tickets are $20 in advance at

House of Pain formed in the early 1990s, released three albums, and then broke up with no reunion in sight. However, 14 years later, this Irish hip-hop powerhouse has returned and is embarking on a national tour to not only celebrate 20 years of House of Pain, but to show they still have what it takes in the hip-hop community.

Most well-known for their classic hit “Jump Around,” which reached No. 3 on the Billboard Single Charts, House of Pain became a mainstay on urban and alternative radio stations throughout the country.

House of Pain members Everlast and Danny Boy are kicking off the 20th anniversary of House of Pain in style. The tour has been dubbed “He Who Breaks The Law” world tour, which is sure to be one of the most anticipated of the year.

The U.S. leg of House of Pain’s 20-year celebration will kick off in March and sees the storied group on their first proper tour since reuniting last year for their highly-praised reunion at KROQ’s Epicenter event alongside Eminem and KISS, among others.

“The catalyst of this whole thing was the KROQ show,” Everlast said. “We left Epicenter and immediately started putting this whole thing together. We’ve been reading messages from the fans who wanted to see it; but once you see a crowd that size go crazy and sing along to every word, you know it’s time to do it. We want to give the fans what they want.”

Danny Boy O’Connor added: “It’s been 20 years in the making and long overdue! Back to the House of Pain 2011 tour…let’s go!”

House of Pain will also bring some hefty support to Otto’s in the form of Big B and Slaine. Fans can expect these shows to be a full-on party with House of Pain and their brothers in music rocking each crowd like it’s their last.
