RVC student club offers ‘Coming Out Day’ April 13

The Rock Valley College student club Rout Out (GSA or Gay-Straight Alliance) will host a “Coming Out” panel discussion from 6 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, April 13, in the Student Center Atrium on the RVC main campus, 3301 N. Mulford Road.

Members from Rock Out as well as from Spectrum (an LGBT Diversity Center) will share stories about their experiences, what it was like to come out to friends and family, and how it affected their lives. There will be time after the panel discussion for questions and answers.

The event is free and open to the community. Light refreshments will be served.
