To the Editor: Calling on the mayor to bring back O’Brien

Honorable Larry J. Morrissey:
Please arrange for a special meeting of the Greater Rockford Airport Commissioners and former Executive Director Bob O’Brien. We feel Mr. O’Brien resigned under duress and ask that you help resolve any differences between the commissioners and Mr. O’Brien.
Mr. O’Brien and the Commissioners ave been an extremely effective team for almost 10 years now. Many residents feel that we need to keep this effective team together and want Bob O’Brien to return to the airport as executive director. We believe you have the skills to bring these two sides together and help resolve the situation.
The blogs at the local news sites and at http://keepbob.blogspot.com [1] clearly show great support for Mr. O’Brien. Please do what you can to help bring him back to the airport.
