Trucker Tom suggests “surely some local talk host will squeeze this for a day’s news story”. Alas,it’s the Trucker,himself,who has raised this subject on WNTA two days running. Sounds like you’re doing the squeezing, Tom. Can you say “disingenuous”?

I agree with Tom. In fact, he was very professional, and refused to say anything about the superintendent. He just wanted the community to be involved, and he wanted all races and creeds to be represented in all matters educational.

Dr. Scheffield was not at the meeting that Mr. Hammatt spoke at. I was. The district’s communication officer Mark Bonne was there, too. In no way, shape or form did Mr. Hammatt say anything that resembled what Dr. Scheffield said he said. His remarks were inclusive, hopeful and encouraging. Clearly, he believes that all children can – and should be the given opportunity – to learn.

I say time for accountability for all her cronies who have terrorized our students, teachers, and staff, as well as ignored the people of this community. They all think they are above the law. And they all seem to think they are running their own corporation. Good riddance to all of them.

Huh.

Along with the other investigations in which she is a person of interest, it does give one pause as to how many legal proceedings Ms. Sheffield is a party to at any given time.

Someone should stop by her office. We’ve heard that she started packing up her things on Monday….
