Week of April 20-26, 2011
Wednesday, April 20—Last night’s moon void of course period ends at 1:50 this morning, when the moon enters Sagittarius. At that point, the energy shifts, and general moods tend to become more expansive and open to a wider range of ideas. Be aware of five major energies today. The first is the sun’s entry into the fixed earth sign Taurus at 5:17 this morning, as the middle portion of the spring season begins. During this time, work to solidify the major projects begun last month at the vernal equinox. Nurture the seedlings. The second would normally be good for starting new projects involving communication and transportation, but remember that Mercury remains retrograde for a few more days, and focus on cleaning up details from the past. The third sheds light on and is very positive for meditation, prayer or any other spiritual practice. It can also be seen as social, and that is the choice many will make with it. The fourth indicates a general shift in relationship and artistic matters toward a more assertive and self-directed mode. This is Venus entering Aries, where it remains until May 15, when it enters Taurus. The fifth is a repeat of the third in a different form, and serves to deepen and extend the effect. Minor energies are mixed, but good moods are there for the choosing.
Thursday, April 21—The high positive energy from yesterday will remain very much with us through today. Reread and make the best possible use of it. Be aware of two more major energies. The first is very good for taking relationships and artistic matters to more spiritual levels. It also works as social energy, however, and that, of course, is what many will use it for. The second is much more cautionary. Be very careful around water, hot and caustic liquids and gases, and any potentially explosive material or situations. This is not the strongest form of this energy, and, as always, most people will not get caught up in the worst of it, but you certainly don’t want to be among those who do. Get anything important done before 11:58 this morning as the moon will be void of course from then through most of tomorrow’s predawn.
Friday, April 22—Yesterday’s moon void of course period runs through most of today’s predawn and finally ends at 5:24 this morning, when the moon enters Capricorn. At that point, the energy will lift noticeably, and general moods tend to become more down to earth and concerned with accomplishment. High energy from yesterday, both positive and especially the cautionary, will remain with us through today. Reread and apply carefully. Be aware of two more major energies today. The first is very good for anything involving science, technology and magic. Light will shine on these areas, and much may be learned. This energy is also very good for fun, unusual and stimulating activities of all kinds. The second is related and brings relationships and social activity into the mix. Plan something off your normal rails with those close to you. Moods will be mixed and tend to run to extremes through the morning, but good choices will yield great results. Have a great time tonight, but do remember the lingering caution from yesterday.
Saturday, April 23—Be aware of three major energies today. The first is very good news: Mercury turns direct in the late predawn after backing up in our sky since March 30. As it picks up speed in direct motion over the next few days, the unusual level of problems with communication, transportation and issues from the past we’ve been having the past three weeks or so will begin to clear up, and things will get back to normal. The second is a repeat of yesterday’s second energy, and relationships and social situations will continue to be emphasized. The third sheds light on and is very good for communication in relationships and making improvements in them. Have a great time tonight, but be aware that the moon will be void of course from 7:13 this evening through tomorrow morning. Get the important things said and done before the void of course starts, and concentrate on fun after.
Sunday, April 24—Last night’s moon void of course period runs through this morning and finally ends at 12:59 this afternoon, when the moon enters Aquarius. At that point, the energy will lift noticeably, and general moods tend to become more independent and free-thinking. High positive energy for relationships and artistic matters continues through today. Reread the past two days and apply well. Make positive new beginnings based on what you’ve recently learned. Moods should be good through most of today. The later evening into the late night is mixed, however, and while most people should be getting along great, there is potential for some people to fall into some very bad moods. Choices will be very important. Make the right ones and avoid those who do not.
Monday, April 25—Positive relationship, social and artistic energy will tend to linger through today. Make good use of it. Take a communicative and cooperative approach through the predawn. A disciplined, yet friendly and communicative approach will bring the best results through the workday. A period of some spaciness and erratic emotional responses occurs in the late night, but this will pass quickly, if it’s noticed at all, and better moods kick in later into tomorrow’s predawn. Make good choices and get a lot of the right things done today.
Tuesday, April 26—A major energy runs through the day that takes relationships to deeper levels. It is of the cautionary persuasion, however, and easily leads to a heavy and potentially coercive sexuality. While this can be fun for some, it can be unsettling and even dangerous for others. As always with this energy, be vigilant and protective of the vulnerable. Good moods should run through today’s predawn and into the early morning. Be aware, however, that the moon will be void of course from 6:27 this morning until 11:57 tonight, when the moon enters Pisces. At that point, the energy will lift very noticeably, and general moods tend to become somewhat more mellow, perhaps a bit spacey and spiritually oriented.
