Durand seeks entries for July 3 Outhouse Race

DURAND, Ill.—The trophy features a roll of toilet paper and bragging rights for a year. The challenge is winning Durand’s Fourth of July Outhouse Race Sunday, July 3, on the Town Square.
Any five-member team is invited to participate. All must be at least 18 years of age.
Four members push the outhouse while another member rides inside. Outhouses are provided.
Racers run the length of one side of Durand’s Town Square, with heat eliminations up to the final race. Entry is free, and entry forms are available on the Durand Events website at durandevents.com. Photos and a video previous outhouse races are also on the site.
