JT’s Bourbon Street Grille celebrates five years April 22
On Good Friday, April 22, JT’s Bourbon Street Grille, 1407 N. Main St., will celebrate its five-year anniversary.
JT’s Bourbon Street opened its doors for business on Good Friday in 2006, and has dealt with a great deal of diversity. The establishment is scheduled to be demolished for the North Main and Auburn Street Roundabout project. The owner, Anthony S. Foreman, is currently looking to relocate the restaurant in Atlanta under the same business name.
J.T. Foreman, a sharecropper from Arkansas, Anthony’s father (deceased), taught his son how to hunt, fish and cook. As a tribute, J.T. Foreman will appear as a character, Detective Jarrett Foreman, in the new television series Criminal Minds, Suspect Behavior, which stars Forrest Whitaker and is tentatively scheduled to air Wednesday, May 11, on CBS. They had to give him a full name; however, his first line will be “Call me JT.”
Everyone is welcome to come out and celebrate this joyous occasion, featuring a five-course buffet for $8. The staff at JT’s wish to express their heartfelt appreciation to the community. For more information, call Anthony Foreman at (815) 964-4400.
