Crime: Man faces multiple burglary charges

A 33-year-old mas suspected of several areas burglaries is behind bars, police said Thursday, May 5.

Scott Baker was arrested April 21 after the Rockford Police Department conducted burglary investigations in the area of Bell School and Guilford roads.

Police said Baker is linked to burglaries in the following areas: 7100 Sentinel, 7200 Sentinel, 2100 Grandchester, 2000 Villanova, 1400 Livingston, 1500 Shiloh and 1200 Marigold.

Baker is being held at the Winnebago County Justice Center on a $250,000 bond. It is not known when he’s scheduled to appear in court or whether he has an attorney.
