Salons offer free services to military members May 23-24
LOVES PARK, Ill.—In honor of Memorial Day, both High Maintenance and Maintenance Man salons will give all active duty military members and their immediate families the choice of a haircut, manicure or 15-minute chair massage free of charge May 23-24.
“We want to show our appreciation for the sacrifices members of the military and their families make that allow us to enjoy our freedoms,” said Clare Schwartz, owner of the Maintenance Salons. “They definitely deserve some pampering, and we thought we could offer military members something other than a buzz cut!”
To receive a free salon service, people must bring in a photo of their military member to be put on display within the salon. The photo should have the military member’s name on the back and can be picked up after Memorial Day.
