Appointments needed at County Clerk’s office for license

Winnebago County Clerk Margie M. Mullins is announcing that starting Monday, June 13, couples who will be coming into the County Clerk’s office for either a Marriage License or a Civil Union License need to call ahead and make an appointment. Appointments will be in half-hour increments starting at 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. through 4:30 p.m.
“We will be able to accommodate couples more efficiently with appointments being made in advance,” said Mullins. Couples can call the office at (815) 319-4250 anytime to make the appointment.
