Astrology: Your Horoscope, Week of June 1-7, 2011
By Denise Guzzardo
Week of June 1-7, 2011
This Week: The lunar eclipse in Sagittarius (June 15) and a Gemini sun bring an emotional time, possibly having to do with endings of some kind. The moon always provides a shift and is often a catalyst to set things in motion that have been “sitting in limbo” for way too long. Additionally, with the moon in the shadow of the Earth, feelings from the subconscious and unconscious are often brought to the surface for us to look at. Emotions and concerns that have been put on the back burner will fight their way out of the darkness to be heard. It is time to explore the hidden influences that have created so much unrest. It’s time to examine and sort the people, things and emotional attachments in your life. Are they positive or negative? Can they be changed? Many of you have already been on alert with this element for quite some time now, feeling exhausted with those who have attempted to suck the life right out of you. Now, many of you will see the light and sever the “psychic vampires’” attachments to you, as well as the temper tantrums they have created to disturb your mental well-being. The tighter we hold on to the outworn aspects of our life, the less room there is to allow new, empowering energy to come in.
Aries (March 21 to April 19)—Regardless of how screwy your schedule may appear this week, allow time to hook up with one of your zany friends for a clear-cut perspective on life. Your creative energy puts you in a different element. As a result, you’re not in the normal 9 to 5 time frame. Once you hook up with those of like mind, you’re able to feel “less complicated.” A little bit of humor goes a long way this week.
Taurus (April 20 to May 20)—You really need to take a step back from the emotional problems you may be causing with family. Take a close look around, and attempt to read between the lines. Your influence is not helping a family member’s relationship sector. In fact, it could be harming it tremendously. Is this what you really want? Do you want your children or siblings to suffer through the same lifestyle you suffered through? Is it that important to you for them to be so much “like you” that they follow a lifestyle pattern you allowed the universe to serve you? You may want to rethink this after the full moon eclipse because the end may not be as bittersweet as you may have envisioned it to be. It’s time to let everyone have their own life, and it’s time for you to find your own path.
Gemini (May 21 to June 20)—This reoccurring family problem needs to be addressed with diplomacy and respect for “all parties” concerned. Walking wide of it only creates more difficulty and heartache down the road. If you’re saying to yourself, “This is not my responsibility,” expect something ugly to erupt shortly over all of this. You may find yourself on the outside looking in as a result of your continued denial of this situation. Midweek, a frustrating business aspect finally smooths out in your favor. Now, it’s time to move forward to bigger and better things.
Cancer (June 21 to July 22)—There are many reasons to celebrate this week, but try not to overdo. Romance is becoming blissful and humorous, and friendships begin to align in a positive way. By week’s end, a business aspect that has been on the back burner finally culminates in your favor. Exciting financial elements arrive shortly, allowing you to breathe a sigh of relief.
Leo (July 23 to Aug. 22)—Weird or unusual information arrives with business and property now. If you can see it in your mind’s eye, you can create it in this physical world. Romantic aspects and friendships require work, and it’s not everyone else’s responsibility to do the work for you. If you could just put yourself in the other person’s shoes for just one day, you would have a clear-cut perspective about how to improve the quality of your “entire” family’s life, not just the one demanding crybaby who is taking up all of your time and energy in a negative way. You have no reason to fear this change. In fact, it would be best to embrace it. Expect the universe to favor you now with these elements, provided you can stop projecting your misdirected anger at innocent bystanders.
Virgo (Aug. 23 to Sept. 22)—A dear friend’s goofy behavior is warranted and may be difficult for you to understand. Try not to fly off the handle with them; work with their idiosyncrasies instead. You may never know what could have been unless you can see it from their point of view. Romantic aspects are beginning to circle around you now in the best possible light. Be open—change is in the air.
Libra (Sept. 23 to Oct. 22)—Well, you got through another challenging week without a scratch, and you may be wondering when this will all smooth out. Soon, my dear Libra friend, very soon. Everyone seems to feel the need to come to you with their problems. This is a spiritual test, one you will pass with flying colors. Take note of all you will be learning so you do not have to repeat this element. Midweek, you will be hearing from a friend or loved one from the past. Make the connection. This will be a pleasant experience.
Scorpio (Oct. 23 to Nov. 21)—You may find you misinterpreted another’s viewpoint about a stressful situation. Once you take the time to investigate all of the information, this will all make more sense to you in the long run. As things begin to get back to normal, you are able to align yourself with a peaceful understanding of all things. Love relationships flourish during this time. At the end of June, you know exactly where your heart is.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22 to Dec. 21)—Powerful financial aspects align for you at this time. Take advantage of this timely aspect, and clear up any additional debt you may have incurred. This will be a theme for you in the months to come, allowing you to set some cash aside for a rainy day. Midweek, you will have the opportunity to clear the air with a loved one. Choose your words carefully, and you will be extremely effective in the long run. Be extremely cautious with animals. If you have any doubt in your mind about the welfare of a four-legged friend, seek professional advice.
Capricorn (Dec. 22 to Jan. 19)—Romantic aspects are highly charged and emotional early this week. Try not to overreact to another and their unusual behavior. This may not be what it appears to be, and you do not want to accuse someone until you have a chance to talk it out. Outside influences are taking a toll on your own inner circle. Be patient and offer emotional support. This will all make perfect sense by week’s end.
Aquarius (Jan. 20 to Feb. 18)—You need to catch up with friends and family at this time. Your schedule has not permitted you to do this as of late, and now things should start to calm down a bit. Finances or additional education will be a focus at this time. Help arrives from an unexpected source. Look at all of your options, and choose the path with the least resistance.
Pisces (Feb. 19 to March 20)—Try not to concern yourself with the whereabouts of others at this time. You have your own responsibilities to deal with, so cluttering your head with everyone else’s business will not help you. Pay close attention to children and pets. Unusual behavior could arise out of the blue with an unexpected outcome. Protect those who cannot protect themselves.
