Fifth Third’s financial bus at Patriots Gateway June 8
Fifth Third Bank’s mobile financial bus, known as the “eBus,” will be at Patriots Gateway Center, 615 S. Fifth St., Rockford, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 8.
The 40-foot bus is a mobile facility outfitted with technology that provides a way for consumers to meet with professionals for free credit counseling, home financing/refinancing and foreclosure prevention information, among other banking matters.
Fifth Third’s eBus hosts Internet and 14 computer terminals for instant access to financial services and homeownership information in a one-on-one setting. A certified U.S. Housing and Urban Development (HUD) representative will be on board at each stop offering access to the federal government’s available information, resources and counseling.
The Fifth Third Bank Homeownership Mobile is an electronically retrofitted vehicle that visitors can board at no financial cost. Services include a free credit report; information about preventing loan defaults and home foreclosures; money management and budgeting tips and tools; a personalized evaluation of finances; an opportunity to open a checking and/or savings account; submission of mortgage loan applications; and fraud awareness and prevention resources..
