Week of June 8-14, 2011
This Week: Don’t panic—I re-posted this on purpose from last week’s column. Just wanted to give everyone an early heads up last week on this week’s coming astrological storm. The lunar eclipse in Sagittarius (June 15) and a Gemini sun bring an emotional time, possibly having to do with endings of some kind. The moon always provides a shift and is often a catalyst to set things in motion that have been “sitting in limbo” for way too long. Additionally, with the moon in the shadow of the Earth, feelings from the subconscious and unconscious are often brought to the surface for us to look at. Emotions and concerns that have been put on the back burner will fight their way out of the darkness to be heard. It is time to explore the hidden influences that have created so much unrest. It’s time to examine and sort the people, things and emotional attachments in your life. Are they positive or negative? Can they be changed? Many of you have already been on alert with this element for quite some time now, feeling exhausted with those who have attempted to suck the life right out of you. Now, many of you will see the light and sever the “psychic vampires’” attachments to you, as well as the temper tantrums they have created to disturb your mental well-being. The tighter we hold on to the outworn aspects of our life, the less room there is to allow new, empowering energy to come in.
Aries (March 21 to April 19)—You may need to make a quick decision about a legal matter or help another with a similar situation shortly. Use your trump cards with connections that you have made in the past to solidify this deal. When all is said and done, everything will work out for the greatest good. By week’s end, you have a plan to incorporate the weak and the strong. All is well that ends well.
Taurus (April 20 to May 20)—You are beginning to see a long-term goal manifest right before your eyes. Now, don’t start the self-sabotaging element you are used to out of fear. Allow this to unfold, and step up to accept what is rightfully yours. You have worked long and hard to obtain this gift from the universe. Do you deserve it? Absolutely.
Gemini (May 21 to June 20)—Finally, you are receiving the recognition you have “busted your butt” to acquire. Try not to read too much into the delays of the matter at hand. Instead, understand everything worked out in perfect timing, as it should. No more mysteries are left to be revealed (at least for this week). Why don’t you take a day off and try to relax a bit? You will be back to the grindstone soon enough.
Cancer (June 21 to July 22)—You may need to protect an individual from bad behavior or slander this week. Be cautious not to overplay your cards by leaning in a totally different direction. You may be misrepresented by a nosy individual who could be willing to put words in your mouth. Go behind the scenes and make sure your loved ones are properly watched over. By next week, this will all blow over.
Leo (July 23 to Aug. 22)—Stop stressing out and take the solid route for now. Meantime, build your private goals and ambitions to the magnitude that the universe is providing. You will feel more secure if you have something to rely on. By week’s end, money sticks to the bottom of your shoe.
Virgo (Aug. 23 to Sept. 22)—With your quick action and timing, you are able to fix a potential hazard in your work environment midweek. Try to use a little diplomacy as you cover the tracks of others. They mean well, and it appears no one really gave them a map to navigate in the area to begin with. Let it go and try to use praise instead of reprimanding them. In the end, all will have learned from their mistakes, and with any luck, you have learned a thing or two as well.
Libra (Sept. 23 to Oct. 22)—Now would be a great time to make lemonade out of lemons. You can’t jump the gun and assume all will fail if everything isn’t perfect. Sometimes the greatest lessons arrive with some of life’s biggest challenges. By week’s end, you will know exactly who your allies are. Make sure you acknowledge their presence.
Scorpio (Oct. 23 to Nov. 21)—You may need to have a heart-to-heart talk with a family member or loved one about a child or pet. Maybe you need to pick up additional responsibility in this arena, or else make it clear you are moving on. In either case, it will allow others to plan accordingly. Romance begins to evolve in a more productive pace. Keep it up.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22 to Dec. 21)—Finances are breaking loose for the better. You are able to start putting away some money for a rainy day now instead of robbing Peter to pay Paul. As a result, you may feel the urge to splurge a bit and treat yourself to an unexpected pleasure. Take your time and choose wisely. This is a long-term commitment.
Capricorn (Dec. 22 to Jan. 19)—You may be pushing yourself through an overwhelming burden. Scheduling conflicts or pure exhaustion may have you on your last nerve. Take a big step back and breathe for a moment. When all is said and done, you have made the right choice to re-evaluate your decisions. Vehicles may be adding additional conflicts early on this week. By week’s end, you find a mountain was made out of a molehill.
Aquarius (Jan. 20 to Feb. 18)—Try not to “close the deal” so quickly until you have seen everything and the fine print involved. You may need to restructure a few things and form a stronger alliance with a soon-to-be-long-term partnership. A pesky blowhard may be trying to get in the mix of things they know nothing about. Don’t waste your time and energy entertaining this type of nonsense.
Pisces (Feb. 19 to March 20)—This is a really good time to focus on the serious matters at hand as opposed to the “supposed outside influences” that appear to be controlling your life. If you are getting sucked into or starting “brush fires” to avoid seeing the truth, this will not help you in the long run. You, and only you, are responsible for your own good health and happiness. Take that to heart.
