Wine & Roses fund-raiser June 16 at Sinnissippi

Join the Rockford Park District’s City of Gardens for an evening of Wine & Roses presented by Edward Jones from 5 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, June 16, at the Sinnissippi Rose Garden, 1300 N. Second St., Rockford. Attendees will sample appetizers, wines, chat with friends, and enjoy the beauty of the riverfront and gardens.
“We are fortunate to have such a beautiful setting for this event,” said City of Gardens Program Director Ruth Miller. “Our award-winning rose garden is a true treasure of our Park District.”
The cost is $40 per person, and includes a commemorative glass, premier wines, hors d’oeuvres, desserts and entertainment. Guests must be at least 21 years old to attend, and advance reservations are required by 5 p.m., Monday, June 13. Credit card reservations can be made by calling (815) 987-8898. Proceeds benefit Rockford Park District’s City of Gardens and the Sinnissippi Rose Garden Endowment.
