Boone County Fair show tickets on sale, Saturday, June 18

BELVIDERE- All grandstand show tickets for the August 9-14 Boone County Fair will go on sale at the fairgrounds box office at 9 a.m., Saturday, June 18.

Country artist Kellie Pickler is the featured act Friday evening at 7:30 p.m., and new grandstand shows are scheduled for Wednesday and Saturday.

Pro Bull Riding will be featured in front of the grandstand Saturday, Aug. 13 at 7 p.m.

Three Boone County high school marching bands will complete in a fund-raising effort Wednesday, Aug. 10. Bands from North Boone, Belvidere North and Belvidere will perform at 7 p.m.

Other attractions include the Queen Contest, Super Stock truck and tractor pulls and two demolition derby shows.

Fairgoers can save $2 on Friday gate admissions by purchasing $15 Kellie Pickler tickets at the fairgrounds box office Saturday, June 18, or Saturday, June 25, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets may also be purchased by calling (815) 547-4503.

Season passes– good for all six days–will also be available for $15 in advance or $17 at the gate.
