Garbage collection delayed a day because of Fourth of July holiday

Garbage collection for City of Rockford residents Monday, July 4, and the balance of that week, will be delayed one day because of the Fourth of July holiday.
Residents who normally have garbage pick-up Monday will be picked up Tuesday, and so on through the subsequent days of the week.
The Household Hazardous Waste Site, 3333 Kishwaukee St., will be closed for the weekend of July 2-3 because of the holiday.
