Casino's are BAD, state-owned Casino's are WORSE. The "House", be it the state or a private owner, dosen't lose. They play the odds against people who dream of a better life, but have no skills to get them there. Illinois is so far from any definition of a "paradise" now, it isn't even funny. No way will a Casino system that further victimizes our citizens will improve our lot. We will go from a post-industrial blue-collar wasteland, to a post-industrial blue-collar addicted wasteland.
