Neighbor’s hosts Rockin’ for a Cause for Autism July 2

The Third Annual Rockin’ for a Cause benefit for the Autism Society of Illinois is set to begin at 1 p.m., Saturday, July 2, at Neighbor’s Bar and Grill, 7745 Forest Hills Road, Loves Park.

Live musical performances by The Crave, Poor Man’s Fortune, Smokin’ Opies and Pistol Pete will begin at 3 p.m. An after party starting at 10 p.m. will feature a rare acoustic performance by members of The Poets Dance.

Cover is $5, with all proceeds benefiting the Autism Society of Illinois.

The event will also feature a poker run beginning and ending at Neighbor’s. Poker run registration opens at 10 a.m. Cost is $10 per bike, and includes a ticket to the show.

50/50 raffles, prize raffles, $2 Miller specials and food specials will also be offered all day.
