PAWS Humane Society adoption event at CherryVale

PAWS Humane Society will hold a two-day “Big Tent” Adoption Event from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, July 9 and Sunday, July 10 at CherryVale Mall, 7200 Harrison Ave., Rockford.

The tent will be located outside the south entrance to Bergner’s near “The District” shopping area.

PAWS Humane Society will have more than 40 various cats and dogs available for adoption. All animals will be fully vetted, up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered/rabies shots and microchipped. You can preview the adoptable animals online before the event at www.PAWSHS.org.

This is the first of many outdoor “Big Tent” adoption events for PAWS Humane Society. ‘We want to be able to hold more of these outdoor tent events to promote adoptions and importance of being a responsible pet owner,” said Luan Dean, director of PAWS.

PAWS Humane Society is a nonprofit volunteer foster-based animal rescue group that helps animals in need in the Winnebago and Boone County areas.
