Autism awareness event at Lou Bachrodt Auto Mall July 9

First Northern Credit Union, Lou Bachrodt Auto Mall, BOB-FM and The Autism Program Service Center are holding an event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, July 9, at the Auto Mall, 7070 Cherryvale North Blvd., Rockford.

The event is being held to help people learn about the resources the community offers to those living with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Parents will have the opportunity to learn about the signs of Autism and also their options after diagnosis.

For those attending, there will be dancing and yoga workshops, bouncy houses, Pickles the Clown, face painting and various local vendors.
