Brat Days at three locations July 15-16

Alpine Kiwanis Brat Days, featuring food and live entertainment, is set for Friday and Saturday, July 15-16.

Locations and hours are as follow:

Edgebrook, 1601 N. Alpine — 11 a.m.-9 p.m., Friday, and 11 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday;

Logli, 6410 E. State St. — 7 a.m.-8 p.m., Friday, and 11 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday; and

Logli, 1810 Harlem, Loves Park — 6 a.m.-8 p.m., Friday, and 11 a.m.-4:45 p.m., Saturday.

Tickets are $5 in advance at any Brat Days site or $6 the day of the event.

In addition to the always-good Johnsonville brats and 1/4-pound all-beef hot dogs, the now-famous meatless barbecue sandwich will be served at all sites. Chips are included, along with pop or water.

Proceeds from Brat Days benefit local non-profit agencies and charities serving the disabled, elderly and youth.
