Harry Potter fans are invited to attend "Open House at Hogwarts" from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Friday July 15, at Discovery Center Museum. The museum will be transformed into the legendary school for wizards and witches. While at Hogwarts, kids can experiment with potions, sit in on herbology class, decorate a dragon and explore astronomy. Practice Quiddich and interact with owls, courtesy of Raptor Rehibilitation and Release. Costumes are encouraged. Discovery Center is inside Riverfront Museum Park, 711 N. Main St. Admission is $7 and free to children younger than 1 and museum members. Friday hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
