Richard.....
The state is broke, do you understand that? We can no longer support your entitlement programs. We need to raise more revenue without punishing the tax payers already stretched to the limit. We need to cut the programs that encourage people not to work, most of the unemployed acquaintances I know DO NOT want to work, they feel they are entitled to a free handout for various reasons. I am sick of paying for their laziness. The state can no longer afford to continue business as usual.

There are many legitimate gaming options that can clean up our currently unregulated gaming system while also generating needed revenue for the state. Video gaming remains the most viable option to generate revenue for critical projects under the Capital Plan. Video gaming will supply 30 percent of the capital bill’s $31 billion funding. Under the Video Gaming Act, the current unlicensed, “gray game” system will be eliminated. The VGA requires all operators, manufacturers, distributors and handlers to be licensed by the Illinois Gaming Board, cleaning up the current system and creating a new system supervised by the state. The VGA legitimizes the industry while spurring the Illinois economy. Without video gaming, we are likely to experience cuts in projects and jobs Illinois desperately needs. To learn more about the Illinois capital bill and its impact, please visit www.BacktoWorkIllinois.com.
