Washington Park Skate Park ribbon-cutting set for July 28

The Rockford Park District will cut the ribbon, and officially open the Washington Park Community Recreation Center Skate Park at 3617 Delaware St., Rockford, at 3 p.m., Thursday, July 28.

The Washington Park Community Recreation Center Skate Park is the Rockford Park District’s third skate park. At the ribbon-cutting ceremony, more details will be provided about how Washington Park Skate Park differs from any of the other locations.
