Does this mean we should do away with with all animal names such as Cougar, Panther, Lions, etc., because it might turn all team members into predatory killers? I look back at Chief Illinwek's demise at the the Unniversity of Illinois because of the opinions of a few. For over 80 years the Chief was a symbol of the fighting Illini and its fighting spirit yet all that is gone,,,and for what? I think that by even responding to this article places me in yet another category along with Mr. Halberstadt in that do not have anything else to do.
