Rockford man arrested for delivery of heroin

The State Line Area Narcotics Team (SLANT) arrested a Rockford resident for delivery of heroin.
Travis Walton, 45, of the 2000 block of Elm St., Rockford, was arrested and charged with three counts of delivery of a controlled substance (heroin).
The arrest of Walton comes after he delivered heroin to undercover SLANT agents in May and June 2011.
Walton is charged with a class 2 felony punishable by three to seven years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.
Walton was incarcerated at the Winnebago County Jail.
