I realize this article is several months old, but I just wanted to point some things out that are historically incorrect (I was on this train at the time and work on it so I feel I have a right to). First off, the 9911A was built in 1940, not 1942. Second, you cannot uncouple that train in particular because of the articulation between the cars (2 cars share a truck)without using heavy equipment. Third, I would like to point out that the Train of the Goddesses had a crash in April of 1947, the year which it was changed to Nebraska Zephyr service, and had to undergo extensive remodeling, which is a lot more than just "changing the name on the side of the car." Lastly, I noticed you said "they were usually joined to a Zephyr that ran between Chicago and Minneapolis, called the Twin Cities Zephyr." That was not "attached" to other cars, it was the whole train.
