Winnebago County District 7 meeting Aug. 30 at Northwest Community Center

A community meeting for Winnebago County District 7 is set for 6 to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 30, at Northwest Community Center, Corbett Building, 1325 N. Johnston, Rockford.

Representatives from the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Department and the Winnebago County Health Department, and county board members Angie Goral and David Tassoni will be in attendance.

The purpose of the meeting is to address the health and safety of the community within the area bordered by Auburn Street, Carbaugh, North Johnson and Searles/Kilburn Avenue/North Central/Halsted Road.
