Rockford woman arrested on cocaine charges

Latasha J. Taylor, 24, of Rockford, has been charged with possession with intent to deliver 1-15 grams of cocaine following an investigation of a residence at 527 N. Second St.
Members of the Rockford Police Department’s Narcotics Unit had been investigating the sale of illegal narcotics that had been reported to be taking place at the residence.
As a result of the investigation, a search warrant was obtained and executed Sept. 27 by the Rockford Police Department’s Narcotics Unit.
Several adults were located in the apartment. During a search of the residence, detectives located several individually-wrapped pieces of suspected crack cocaine, along with United States currency.
One adult female, later identified as Taylor, was charged with possession with intent to deliver 1-15 grams of cocaine. She is lodged at Winnebago County Jail on $150,000 bond.
