The Greater Rockford Italian American Association (GRIAA) invites the community to its annual Italian Hall of Fame Banquet on Saturday, Oct. 8, at Cliffbreakers Riverside Resort, where area Italian Americans will be honored for their work.
For nearly two decades, this annual event has paid tribute to local Italian Americans for their contributions to the community. In addition to bestowing the Hall of Fame Award, three individuals will also be presented with Special Recognition awards for their outstanding achievement in various fields of endeavor. The GRIAA Hall of Fame Committee selects the awardees who are nominated by their friends, family, co-workers and the community at large.
