‘Going to the Dogs’ fund-raiser for PAWS Humane Society Oct. 14 at Egg Harbor

PAWS Humane Society will host an after-hours dinner fund-raiser from 4 to 7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 14, at Egg Harbor Café.

The event, titled “Going to the Dogs,” is open to both humans and their dogs. Patio seating will be available for dogs and their owners.

Treats will be available for both humans and dogs. Breakfast and lunch creations will be available, and prize drawings will be held throughout the evening.

Those who attend will also have the opportunity to meet some of PAWS’ adoptable animals.

A portion of the dinner proceeds benefits PAWS Humane Society, a non-profit volunteer foster-based animal rescue group that helps animals in need in the Winnebago County and Boone County areas. For more about PAWS, call (815) 299-7297 or visit www.PAWSHS.org.
