SwedishAmerican to host Joint ‘Replacement Surgery: Ask the Experts’ Oct. 26

Wednesday, Oct. 26, SwedishAmerican Health System will host “Joint Replacement Surgery: Ask the Experts.” The event will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. in the first-floor conference center of SwedishAmerican Hospital.
A panel of medical experts, including Dr. Oscar Anton, an orthopedic surgeon with SwedishAmerican Medical Group/Lundholm, and Dr. Victor Antonacci, an orthopedic surgeon with Rockford Orthopedic Associates, will discuss frequently-asked questions about knee and hip replacement; non-surgical options; and post-operative care.
The second portion of the evening will be reserved for answering questions from the audience.
Attendees should arrive after 5 p.m. to browse the healthcare exhibits and to be seated for opening remarks. Admission is free, but seating is limited. To reserve a space, register by calling HealthConnect at (815) 968-2500. Enter through the Heart Hospital entrance, off Charles Street. Valet parking is available.
