Children’s Halloween party at Discovery Center Oct. 29
Staff Report
Rockford’s Discovery Center Museum will host a Halloween party for children from 6 to 9 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 29. The event will be spooky enough for haunt-seekers, but friendly enough for all ages.
Grab a goody bag and attend in costume. Activities will include the following: make real slime; play with black light; help create Charlie Brown’s “Great Pumpkin”; meet famous “dead” scientists and enjoy their “Dead Science Demonstrations”; play “Dead Science Bingo”; make spooky art; and earn a “Nobel” prize for your costume.
Admission is $8 per person for the general public, $4 per person for members.
Discovery Center Museum is inside Riverfront Museum Park at 711 N. Main St., Rockford.
