Nation’s leading kids’ consignment event comes to Rockford
Staff Report
It’s official! Rockford is now home to the nation’s leading children’s and maternity consignment event. Just Between Friends is a semi-annual kids’ consignment sale that has taken the nation by storm. Thousands of families throughout 24 states are selling their new and gently-used clothes and toys their kids have outgrown as well as bargain shopping for things they might need — all under one roof in one weekend.
Area residents are invited to take advantage of the JBF Consignment Sale to be held Nov. 10-12 at Tebala Shrine Center, 7910 Newburg Road, Rockford. Sale hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday and Friday, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday. There is a $3 admission on Thursday only; free admission on Friday and Saturday.
“High gas prices, storm recovery and the economy in general has people looking for ways to cut costs and save,” said Gloria Gear, local franchise owner of Just Between Friends. “Just Between Friends allows families to purchase items at a fraction of the cost, while also making extra cash on items they may have otherwise discarded.”
Local residents who want to consign are encouraged to register online at: www.rockfordjbfsale.com.
