Pasta Cucina to open inside Stewart Square Nov. 3
A ribbon-cutting ceremony for Pasta Cucina, a Rockford City Market vendor, is set for 1 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 3, inside Stewart Square, 308 W. State St.
The new location will offer fresh handcrafted pastas, flavored olive oils, aged balsamic vinegars, fresh baked bread, pestos and cheeses.
Pasta Cucina’s natural pastas are made fresh daily in various flavors and are available fresh or dried.
Joining the owners for the event will be Rockford Ald. Doug Mark, President of the River District Association Gary Anderson and Rock River Development Partnership President Peter Provenzano.
One of the primary goals of Rockford City Market is to serve as an incubator for new entrepreneurs, giving them an opportunity to test market their products and grow their businesses, eventually opening storefronts of their own. Pasta Cucina is an example of this success
Rockford City Market is a collaborative effort of several agencies, including the Rock River Development Partnership, On the Waterfront, Inc., Rockford Area Convention & Visitors Bureau, the River District Association, the City of Rockford, the Rockford Area Economic Development Council and the Illinois Small Business Development Center.
