‘Meet the Candidates Night’ Nov. 14 for Dems

Attend the “Meet the Candidates Night” for Democratic candidates running for U.S. Congress in the Illinois 17th District. Democratic candidates from this hotly-contested race will be together in Rockford for the first time to meet area residents.

Invited candidates include George Gaulrapp, mayor of Freeport; Cheri Bustros, alderman of East Moline; and David Koehler, state senator from Peoria. Area citizens will be able to meet the candidates and hear them talk about their plans for America.

“Candidate Night” will take place at 7 p.m., Monday, Nov. 14, at the IBEW Hall at 6820 Mill Road, Rockford.

This event is co-sponsored by Rockford Progressive Meetup, Rockford Peace & Justice Action Committee and IBEW Local 364. It is free and open to interested citizens.
