Heart filled read. I believe in a balance. yes progress is a way of life, but progress at too great of expense, a progress that threatens health, our shared resources AIR WATER, is not progress. No, it goes by another name. All I ask is for our politicians to find the balance in it all and not worry about their balance in their bank accounts first. Our county was bought and paid for a long time ago. Lets take it back. We still have a vote! If we band together we can bring the so called powerful in this county down where they belong, on the streets.

I think it is overdue for Rockford residents to simply not patronize any business that advertises in the Rock River Times newspaper. Mr. Schier, you are a trouble maker and deserve to be be closed down. So, JOIN ME! If a business advertises with Frank Schier, simply don’t do business there!

Though a painful read, I am glad to see your column again. Sadly it seems the folks with small and/or empty pockets have the largest environmental conscience and heart. Good old boys and Rockford/Winnebago County politicians are marching along their self-serving path. Oh, but the River Walk will be so lovely…..
