Local Girl Scout shop features gourmet food items
Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois (GSNI) is now featuring a limited supply of its Fall Product Program gourmet food items in the Rockford Council Shop, 2820 McFarland Road, Rockford. For details or to reserve an item over the phone, call (815) 962-5591.
This year’s products include chocolate-covered pretzels in a schoolhouse tin, blueberry pomegranate nut crunch, mint treasures, Zen crunch mix (wasabi peas, sesame sticks and various nuts) and sugar-free chocolate truffles.
Returning favorites are caramel treasures (in a Girl Scouts’ 100th Anniversary tin), chocolate-covered raisins, malted milk balls, deluxe pecan clusters and peanut butter dreams.
Salty nut items include whole cashews and honey roasted peanuts. Chocolate-covered almonds and peanuts are also offered. A sweet fruit slice assortment is also available. A combo three-pack of cashews, peanuts and wasabi almonds can also be purchased.

Food items start at $5, and no food item is more than $10.
