Rockford Army recruiting station relocates Dec. 2
Online Staff Report
The U.S. Army Recruiting Station in Rockford is moving to a new location 2 miles east from its current address.
The new location at 621 Highgrove Place will open for business Friday, Dec. 2. The recruiting station is taking advantage of the excellent facilities and collaborative environment offered.
“We look forward to better serving those who are searching for career opportunities in the Army,” said Sgt. 1st Class Jeremy Hetrick, station commander. “Our new location is at a sprawling center just off a main highway. We expect this will increase Army visibility and bring more visitors to our office.”
The new site accommodates a team of five soldiers who cover Army recruiting operations in Rockford and Belvidere.
The team’s mission is to recruit with integrity young men and women into the U.S. Army.
