Rockford schools: Public forum set for Dec. 5 at East High School

A public forum designed to gather input on several topics before the Rockford Board of Education is set for 6 p.m., Monday, Dec. 5, at Rockford East High School, 2929 Charles St.
Among the topics being addressed are the possible addition of a seventh period to middle and high school days, changes to honors course offerings, and credit requirements for graduation and participation in extracurricular activities.
The forum will be part of the Board of Education’s Education Committee meeting.
