Once again Obama barks orders, but doesn't provide real leadership. He was no where to be found during the supercommittee talks (which came about because Obama walked away from his own bipartisan debt-cutting committee, Simpson-Bowles) and Obama didn't lead during the near gov't shutdown before that.

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) was recently on Face the Nation. He talked about how Obama failed to lead during the supercommittee talks. And Manchin has previously spoken on how Obama has failed to provide real leadership.

Thank goodness Obama has Sen. Harry Reid to make a mess of things in Congress, so as to provide a scapegoat for Obama to run against.

A Washington Post column said that Reid had embraced no-nothingism. Bills go from the House to die in the Senate. Tabled, tabled, tabled. No debate. No amendments. No nothing.

Manchin was on Morning Joe recently and talked about how it was a disgrace that Senate Democrats .(Reid) had not passed a budget in over two years.

Reid and Obama: Do-nothing Democrats. With a Do-nothing Senate, to boot.
