I was not shocked to hear the news of the "sanctions" against JTs. However my concern is that the city may be treating the business differential treatment based on past history. I live in Bloomington, Illinois, but was born and raised in Rockford.

I have met Mr. Foreman and I respect for what he his familly has chosen to do for the city. I haven't seen the agreement with the city and the liquor commission does have final say, but I would support a special use permit for the business for the New Years eve event. I do understand the responsiblity to ensure public safety but I'm not sure thats the issue here.

I'm
getting a little old to stay up late anymore(chuckle) but I will see you at JTs for an early evening visit to ring in the new year. Auld Lang Syne anyone?
