I would like to now the teacher’s side of the story!! Was he protecting another student from a thug? Was he defending himself? I hope & pray this was not a malicious act. I have been a substitute for many years and I have been spit on, sworn at and even shoved by thugs who should NOT be in our schools. So, again I say, I would like to hear the teacher’s side before he is condemned in the public’s eyes!!
To “Mom”, could you please expand on WHY you didn’t like him? Did he make your son work in class, was he made to behave in class & not be disruptive, or was he a horrible teacher (in what ways)? I am really curious as your statment is so lacking in facts, thank you.

This is a very unfortunate situation. I do not know any facts. I pray for all involved. I do, however, know first hand how the job of teacher is so much more than teaching. Day in and Day out battle ground atmosphere can wear even the strongest teacher down. I pray that justice will be done and the climate for teachers & students will improve. We can not teach/learn unless we feel safe.
