Local Cost Cutters awarded ‘Salon of the Year’

The Cost Cutters Hair Salon, inside the Rockford Walmart at 3849 N. Ridge Drive, was named one of five Cost Cutters Salons of the Year in southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois. The region includes a total of 50 Cost Cutters salons competing for the top honors. William Kaminski of Madison, Wis., is the owner.
The salon won for dedication, excellent teamwork, community service, customer satisfaction, repeat business and profitability at the recent awards ceremony in Madison. Billy Jo Holcomb, manager, and her team, accepted the award.
All 50 salons earned a national award from Cost Cutters headquarters for supporting nonprofits, both financially and through complimentary hair care services. The salons support Hospice Care, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Wigs for Kids and more.
