Your Horoscope: Week of Jan. 11-17, 2012
By Denise Guzzardo
Week of Jan. 11-17, 2012
This Week: The afterglow of the past full moon in Cancer may have left some of you exhausted as a result of home projects coming to a completion or family matters being resolved with a bit of “head bumping” prior to the resolution. Take a step back now and recover from these emotional elements. Venus enters Pisces Jan. 14 and stays until Feb. 8. Many of you may feel the overwhelming need to root for the underdog, and others may slip into a martyr-type mentality. Please try to refrain from doing the latter; this isn’t very appealing behavior to deal with, and even though you may think it’s getting you results, it’s a turnoff. No one wants to feel manipulated into doing or seeing things “your way.” Have a great week.
Aries (March 21 to April 19) — Pay very close attention to the health and welfare of an animal or child. Alert the powers that be if you notice anything unusual with something smaller or weaker than yourself. You may be in a position to “save the day,” and another would be eternally grateful for your intuition regarding this matter. A loved one may be challenged by an aggressive individual midweek. Contact the authorities, if necessary.
Taurus (April 20 to May 20) — You are feeling on top of the world this week. Contact with friends and family charges your batteries to the highest power. As a result, you radiate a positive light that everyone notices. Take advantage of this time to get what you want! You’re making powerful connections that will change the course of your future.
Gemini (May 21 to June 20) — You may be walking a very fine line this week with a loved one and a family member. Do not force these two individuals to be in the same space at this time. The planetary elements will not produce a positive outcome, and you will be stuck having to choose sides. Wait until after the 1st of February to try to resolve this problem. The stars will be in your favor then.
Cancer (June 21 to July 22) — You have many opportunities this week to socialize and expand your career sector. Try not to run yourself ragged in the process and neglect your health. Exercise and meditation get you through this time with flying colors. Options for romance become obvious now. Enjoy being the center of attention for a change.
Leo (July 23 to Aug. 22) — Step by step, you are finding yourself in the right space now. After many trials and tribulations, you’ve realized the “9 to 5” may not be the fit for you. Take a leap of faith and allow the universe to carve your path. You are making contacts now that will be lifetime connections. Romance is fine; don’t take a crowbar to it!
Virgo (Aug. 23 to Sept. 22) — Information from or about a person from your past is revealed this week. Even though you may not be surprised at the outcome, it still may startle you a bit. Try not to overreact to this old issue. In fact, take it as a sign that you are in the right place at the right time. Slowly, but surely, you are crawling out of a financial hole. Expect this to be the last episode of drama for a while.
Libra (Sept. 23 to Oct. 22) — You may be concerned about the health and welfare of a pet or child this week. Pay close attention to the little signs — they may be alerting you to a bigger issue. If you’re able to address this situation now, it will change the course of the future. A lucky break arrives midweek concerning career and finance. Take advantage of these aspects.
Scorpio (Oct. 23 to Nov. 21) — You may need to consider your options to speed up the outcome of your long-term goals. Unexpected events arrive, and you will need to be prepared. If you are willing to allow your dreams to come true, you will have the ability to manifest them. A change in scenery will do you good. Take a break and get away from the normal routine. This will put the spring back in your step.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22 to Dec. 21) — Do not challenge a negative individual this week. Even though your blood may be boiling, this is not the time to “set the record straight.” Surround yourself with those who are of like mind and spirit. Loved ones demonstrate emotional support. This time frame will provide extremely positive aspects to your personal life. Someone who has been a thorn in your side will be removed from your life shortly.
Capricorn (Dec. 22 to Jan. 19) — Be very cautious not to “get even” with another. No matter how justified you may think you feel, it’s better just to walk wide of a conflict. If you come up with a plan to expose or attempt to hurt another, this will backfire in your face within the next lunar cycle. It’s not worth it in the long run. Keep your karma clean.
Aquarius (Jan. 20 to Feb. 18) — Family matters are on the table, and the outcome looks better than initially expected. It is as though a guardian angel has stepped in for you to heal up a physical or emotional issue. Take the time to count your blessings and make sure you are using the pay-it-forward approach with life now. Every positive aspect you send out comes back tenfold.
Pisces (Feb. 19 to March 20) — A creative project will put you center stage this week. Take advantage of these options and by summer, you will have the recognition you deserve. It may be time to make peace with a long-standing enemy. Wait until after the 1st of February to set this in motion. We forgive to set ourselves free emotionally. Do not confuse the terms of forgiving and forgetting — they are not one and the same.
