She has no authority and won't do anything to uphold the law. I learned that as a school board member in the Harlem School District. The attorney general ruled that the district was violating the "open meetings act". Nothing happened because of it. My great niece that I was raising was taken away from me. At the same time, my nursing license was suspended. POLITICAL! When I tried to get signatures to run for county board as an independent, my brother's business was stolen from him illegally, without due process. My brother died at the age of 48 years old due to this. His whole body was healthy except his heart was slightly enlarged. Stress will cause enlargement of the heart. "Broken heart syndrome will kill you.? My children are grown. Nobody depends on me for support anymore. I can only tell the truth as I know it to be. I will die in jail if that is what it takes. Illinois law and Attorney General opinions favor avoiding any type of conflict of fiduciary interest when considering these cases. It would seem more likely that a college board trustee could vote on a financial agreement with a county than would a library trustee. Given that, and the previous Attorney General opinions on these matters, it is likely that the Attorney General will rule there is a conflict of interest.
