Area Republicans host Lincoln Day Dinner Feb. 11

Area Republicans will gather at Cliffbreakers Riverside Resort, 700 W. Riverside Blvd., Saturday, Feb. 11, for the annual Lincoln Day Dinner & Program. Social hour begins at 6 p.m., followed by dinner and program at 7 p.m.
Keynote speakers will be Illinois U.S. Reps. Don Manzullo, R-16, and Bobby Schilling, R-17. The congressmen will discuss current events in Washington, D.C., and the upcoming elections of 2012.
Also making presentations will be State Sens. Dave Syveron, R-34, and Christine Johnson, R-35, and Winnebago County Board Chairman Scott Christiansen (R). A tribute to Dave Winters, who will be retiring from public office after more than two decades, and other awards will complete the evening.
